50Stars is committed to supporting remarkable individuals who have found themselves in challenging situations due to circumstances outside their control. Whether you are a gifted 19-year-old Haredi who has chosen a new path beyond yeshiva and the ultra-Orthodox community, or a brave combat soldier from a family unable to afford vital psychometric courses—or even pursue undergraduate studies at renowned institutions like Yale or Harvard—this initiative is designed for you. I feel an immense responsibility toward these outstanding individuals, and our mission is to bring the brilliance of 50Stars down from the sky, ensuring it’s within reach so you can achieve your full potential. Our program will be twofold: we will connect these promising stars with current students at elite universities who can guide them as mentors, illuminating their path ahead. To make this possible, we’re seeking assistance in recruiting students and alumni willing to step into mentorship roles. We are also looking for support from both the Ministry of Education and IDF in identifying talented young people across Israel needing guidance and financial aid. We aim not only to provide scholarships for undergraduate education but also consulting services during college admissions (via 50Stars). Our goal is simple: empower students pursuing degrees since bachelor’s qualifications can sometimes be obtained without prior work experience or even high school diplomas if supported by strong SAT scores. These scholarships would function as interest-free loans spread over seven-to-ten years with one key stipulation—the recipient must return to Israel within five years following graduation.
