Advokids champions the rights of every child within California's foster care system, striving for their safety, stability, and a loving permanent home. This nonprofit organization specializes in delivering essential legal assistance and guidance to individuals concerned about children who are currently in or may soon enter foster care. As the sole provider of a free telephone hotline statewide, Advokids equips relatives, foster parents, and advocates with the knowledge needed to navigate the challenging complexities of child welfare. Their mission is to prevent trauma while safeguarding legal entitlements and enhancing the quality of life for over 45,000 children under California’s foster care system.
