Many attorneys often exaggerate their trial experience, claiming extensive exposure while in reality, the depth of their expertise may be limited. They might assert that they've engaged in numerous trials but omit the fact that a significant portion occurred outside of formal court settings. I am Alex Levay, an attorney based in Leesburg, Virginia, dedicated to defending individuals accused of crimes as well as those who have suffered injuries due to others' negligence. Over my 27-year career, I have managed more than 50,000 legal cases which include upwards of 200 jury trials and thousands held before judges along with multiple criminal appeals. Notably recognized as Virginia's youngest chief public defender at the time—an achievement made possible by successfully conducting over 100 jury trials during my tenure as an assistant public defender in Fairfax—I forged a reputation for winning many essential cases. My invaluable experience at the public defender’s office refined my courtroom abilities extraordinarily well; today I approach high-pressure situations with confidence and poise. Additionally, I've represented clients involved in several notable criminal matters including both federal and state capital murder charges while also aiding countless families seeking rightful compensation for injuries incurred through no fault of their own.
