About
Founded 1901
At our firm, we are committed to delivering exceptional general-practice legal solutions promptly and efficiently, leveraging the expertise of attorneys who specialize in diverse areas of law. Established in 1901 with the inception of Kennerk & Somers, our journey took a significant turn in 1984 when we unified Dumas Backs Salin & Vegeler (the former Kennerk & Somers) with Adair Perry Beers Mallers & Larmore. This collaboration birthed Beers Mallers Backs & Salin, LLP. Since that pivotal moment, we've experienced remarkable growth—more than doubling our size—which reflects not only the success stories crafted for our clients but also our unwavering commitment to outstanding service. Our clientele is varied; it includes individuals and families as well as Fortune 500 enterprises across different sectors. We adeptly manage a wide array of legal challenges affecting their business and personal spheres—including corporate governance, real estate issues, employment matters, bankruptcy representation and creditors' rights advocacy among others like elder law planning and municipal regulations—all predominantly serving Northeast Indiana residents. Currently composed of a talented team comprising 20 lawyers alongside an administrative staff of 27 members led by Managing Partner Adam Henry—with key contributions from Executive Committee members Heidi Adair and Kurt Bachman—we continue to maintain strong local ties through seasoned professionals such as Bill Fishering—the Allen County attorney since the mid-1970s—and Kurt Bachman’s oversight over LaGrange County affairs along with managing operations at that office location beneath his purview also rests Dan Leininger who oversees activities at Warsaw office too.
