Bill is the visionary behind MacBride Law, PLLC, where he serves as a licensed patent attorney. His extensive knowledge in federal law enables him to support clients across the country with issues related to patents, federal trademarks, immigration, and mining laws on federal properties. Before establishing MacBride Law, Bill dedicated 21 years as a partner at Gough, Shanahan, Johnson and Waterman (GSJW), based in Helena, MT. His career also includes a significant six-year tenure with Gold Fields Mining Company in Denver—a subsidiary of Consolidated Gold Fields from London—where he represented the firm internationally across Canada and Taiwan as well as within the United States. Prior to his legal journey with Gold Fields Mining Company; Bill garnered 11 years of hands-on experience as a petroleum geologist at Pennzoil Company which adds substantial depth to his approach in client representation today. Academically accomplished; Bill holds an undergraduate degree in Geological Engineering from Colorado School of Mines an MBA focused on Finance from University of Houston and earned his Juris Doctorate from University of Denver.
