Alyssa Paez

Her expertise extends to aiding organizations in smoothing over labor disputes within unionized settings. Her courtroom presence is notable, having advocated across various legal forums including the BC Labour Relations Board, arbitration panels, and courts at every tier within British Columbia.

Alyssa's journey into law began with her role as an Associate in May 2018, a position she secured following a successful articling period with the firm. Her pre-law firm experience includes a pivotal stint at WorkSafeBC as a Review Officer (Student Intern), providing her with invaluable insights into occupational safety and health. Her law school years were marked by a deep commitment to community service; she devoted her time to Battered Women Support Services as a legal intern and led a mentorship initiative at the Allard School of Law’s Centre for Feminist Legal Studies. Moreover, Alyssa enriched her legal education through participation in the Judicial Externship Program, serving as an intern to judges in the Provincial Court of British Columbia.

Alyssa's academic credentials are robust, holding a JD from the University of British Columbia (2017) and a BA in History from the University of Regina (2013).
