Role Overview

The role of the Bookkeeper at Clearway Law is integral to the smooth functioning of our business. You will be responsible for performing various financial duties, including preparing personal and corporate tax returns, SHED claims, and managing payroll.

Your ability to provide timely financial information will be pivotal in making key strategic decisions and for our reporting to investors.

Key Responsibilities

-Prepare and manage personal tax returns for management.

-Prepare and submit corporate tax returns for the company.

-Assist in the preparation and submission of SHED (Scientific Research and Experimental Development) claims.

-Handle payroll responsibilities for our team of three employees.

-Respond to periodic requests such as Notice to Readers, profit and loss statements.

-Monitor financial transactions and reports.

-Conduct regular ledger procedures.

-Analyze and improve financial processes and systems.

-Maintain confidentiality of organizational information.

Bookkeeper Job Vancouver BC – Requirements

-Degree in Finance, or a related field.

-3-5 years of experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.

-Comprehensive understanding of accounting and financial principles.

-Detail-oriented with excellent numerical skills.

-Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

-You are up to date on tax rules in Canada.
