High-profile drug cases in Beijing

During a raid on his apartment, authorities discovered over 100 grams of marijuana, and Chan admitted to using the drug. Wu’s arrest also led to the cancellation of his endorsement deals and a significant backlash from his fans.

Most recently, Chinese actor Zhang Mo was arrested in 2020 for drug use and sentenced to nine months in prison.
