A Center for Children and Family Law

Founded in 1995, Tisha Harman and Sheryl Edgar made the pivotal decision to leave their previous roles at a law firm to create A Center for Children & Family Law. Their mission was clear: to assist families through the specialized field of “Children’s Law.” While many firms in Southern California concentrated on family law matters typically related to divorce, none dedicated themselves entirely to uplifting families by giving children a voice in legal proceedings. Recognizing this gap, Tisha and Sheryl established an environment where they could passionately engage in what they cherished most about legal practice—championing the rights of children and supporting their families. The firm's focus has remained steadfastly on providing representation for children along with those who care deeply for them.
