Founded 1975
Pioneering as New Jersey's inaugural women’s bar association, The Association of Black Women Lawyers is dedicated to fostering a platform for discussing and sharing legal insights pertinent to Black and Minority attorneys. Our mission encompasses enhancing communication and collaboration within the legal field, promoting charitable initiatives that benefit both the legal sector and broader community endeavors. We strive to inspire students aspiring to enter the law profession while encouraging our members' active engagement in community service organizations. Furthermore, we support individuals in achieving excellence within their careers by providing valuable information and guidance on prospective opportunities in the legal realm.
