About

Founded 2020

Though small in size, my law practice packs a significant punch! I take pride in delivering personalized services while drawing upon an extensive network of attorneys affiliated with both state and local bar associations. A little about me: In 1999, I proudly became the 13th woman to obtain a professional surveyor license in Michigan. Not long after receiving my license, I faced the nerve-wracking moment of signing and sealing my very first survey—a task that had me double-checking every detail to ensure its accuracy. The tension escalated when a lawyer called to question one of my surveys intended for court use amid a boundary dispute. Thankfully, although not summoned to testify, this experience made me aware that many lawyers lacked understanding regarding property descriptions and surveys. Fast forward three years—I transitioned into the Wayne County Office of the Register of Deeds where collaboration with knowledgeable legal professionals on property matters flourished. Life took an unexpected turn when my husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer; he valiantly fought his battle for four years before passing away from it. Alongside this struggle came difficult end-of-life choices as well as navigating how best to secure his disability benefits during his declining health—numerous medical appointments cluttered our calendar during those months. Inspiration struck during these trying times: after three years supporting him through treatment procedures spurred by optimism that he would overcome cancer—I embarked on law school at Jim’s encouragement like never before! My dream was clear; becoming an attorney would grant us flexibility no matter where life led us—be it hospital visits or vacations post-battle triumphs—unfortunately fate had different plans as tragedy struck sooner than anticipated yet determination remained strong within me! After completing law school and successfully mastering bar exam requirements back in 2019—the vision crystallized into reality! Thus came forth creation of my specialized boutique firm focusing intently upon estate planning alongside real estate issues—all passionately inspired by love lost but legacy lived on thus far…
