The Association of Latin American Law Students (ALALS) is proudly based at Rutgers Law in Newark, where we focus on empowering Latinx law students and professionals across diverse career avenues within the legal field. Our expansive alumni network includes members who have excelled as attorneys and judges, among other successful roles in the legal arena. We aim to connect our members with this broad ALALS community fostering mentorship opportunities while upholding Latin values throughout the profession.
We support our current student body by offering guidance through various initiatives like mentoring from upper-class students, networking events, and educational workshops that enhance study skills and foster long-term academic achievement in law school. Open to individuals from all cultural backgrounds, we also collaborate with organizations such as the Association of Black Law Students (ABLS) and the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA), working together towards a more inclusive environment for both Rutgers’ student community and beyond.
Thank you for visiting our LinkedIn page; we appreciate your interest in learning about ALALS! We're always here for any inquiries or discussions—your participation is warmly welcomed!
