Established in 1983, Blackstock & Barsell, P.C. is a dedicated law firm specializing in estates and trusts. The firm originated when Robert L. Blackstock focused his practice solely on Estate Planning, Trusts, and Probate law. As time progressed, the team expanded with additional attorneys who brought expertise in these areas. In 2018, Liz Barsell succeeded Mr. Blackstock as the leader of this Walnut Creek-based practice; she is an accomplished Estate Planning Attorney known for her proficiency with wills and trusts. Before her tenure with Bob's firm began—a partnership that emerged after they worked together for years—Liz gained valuable experience as an associate at a Family Law office located in Pleasanton. To formalize their collaboration under California regulations, they established a Professional Corporation structure for their business operations. In 2023, McKenna Koepke became part of the team as an associate attorney further enhancing the firm's capabilities.
