About
Founded 2019
The Hamilton Lincoln Law Institute (HLLI) is a nonprofit public-interest law firm dedicated to promoting free markets, safeguarding free speech, advocating for limited government, upholding the separation of powers, and advancing animal welfare. Additionally, it fights against regulatory overreach and seeks to mitigate rent-seeking behavior. Established in January 2019, HLLI encompasses the Center for Class Action Fairness (previously part of the Competitive Enterprise Institute). The organization carries forward CCAF's vital mission of ensuring that class-action litigation prioritizes the rights and well-being of class members over those of attorneys.
