About
With over three decades of experience as a jury trial attorney, I have carved out my own path to success in the legal field. As the first lawyer in my family, all of my achievements stem from my courtroom skills and dedication. Early on, I distinguished myself with impressive jury trial outcomes which led to rapid advancement—from defending insured clients to representing insurance companies directly. By the time I was in my mid-30s, I found myself stepping into complex cases that were initially handled by much more experienced attorneys and earned a reputation as a reliable troubleshooter across multiple jurisdictions. Notably, by age 40, I played a significant role as one of the lead defense attorneys in Aguayo v. PG&E—a landmark case depicted in "Erin Brockovich" and recognized at that time as California's largest lawsuit ever filed. My proven track record prompted an insurance client to create an innovative position specifically for me—coordinating counsel—for critical cases where their very survival hinged on our strategies; this position had me interfacing regularly with board members while acting as chief counsel during high-stakes litigation.. By age 45, I've successfully settled claims totaling over $2 billion and contributed significantly toward some of America’s most consequential legal battles.
