As one of the select organizations providing hands-on community legal services alongside court representation, impactful litigation initiatives, and policy advocacy efforts; we tackle a wide range of employment-related challenges for our clients. These issues encompass unpaid minimum or overtime wages; wrongful denial of medical or family leave; refusal to provide necessary disability accommodations; as well as various forms of discrimination rooted in race, nationality status, immigration background , language proficiency , gender identity , sexual orientation ,and physical or mental abilities . Our organization operates within six distinct program areas: rights pertaining to disabilities ; promotion gender equity ; safeguarding national origin freedoms alongside immigrant needs & language access issues ; advancing racial equality standards along with enforcing wage laws through litigation processes while simultaneously delivering essential community-level legal support services . We are dedicated wholeheartedly toward aiding both our clients directly within courts but also working collaboratively on pre-litigation settlements acting representatively before administrative bodies/ governmental agencies even providing expert testimony during legislative proceedings permitting us deliver comprehensive technical assistance throughout all aspects involved in achieving justice effectively .
