Established in 1990, the LGBTQ+ Bar Association of the District of Columbia is a non-partisan and independent organization devoted to supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender legal professionals—including lawyers and law students—in the Washington D.C. area. This bar association champions the rights and interests of the LGBTQ+ community by serving as their representative within legal circles while enhancing their professional experiences. As an affiliate member of the National LGBTQ+ Bar Association, we collaborate with various local and national organizations focused on advocating for LGBT issues.
