About
Founded 2016
The Penn Law International Arbitration Association (PLIAA) serves as a dynamic student organization dedicated to the realm of international arbitration. Established by LLM students with the aim of boosting LLM engagement in activities at Penn Law, it has since evolved into a collaborative effort involving both JD and LLM candidates. This vibrant group is regarded as one of the premier platforms for connecting with fellow LLM peers while delving into international arbitration topics. Since its inception in 2016, PLIAA has hosted an annual major conference each Spring semester that attracts leading attorneys from the field, along with various smaller events throughout the year designed to familiarize students with practitioners and principles within international arbitration practice.
