Founded by Andrew Whiteman, who grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, the firm is built on a strong foundation of legal expertise. Mr. Whiteman graduated cum laude from Miami University in 1977 before earning his law degree from The Ohio State University three years later; during his time there, he earned membership in The Order of Barristers and contributed to the Law Journal as a staff member. He has been licensed to practice law across both federal and state courts within North Carolina as well as the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Whiteman has received an "AV" peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell—signifying exceptional attorney competence combined with high ethical standards—and prides himself on conducting thorough evaluations for potential cases based solely on their legal viability!
