I am committed to safeguarding the rights of individuals facing arrest and criminal charges. My journey began with a major in criminal justice at Michigan State University, where I realized that my path would diverge from traditional roles within the system. Instead, I chose to hold it accountable by pursuing a career as a criminal defense attorney through law school. During my studies, I gained invaluable experience at the Federal Defender Office for Michigan's Eastern District and later had the privilege of clerking for one of Michigan’s top defense attorneys, Michael Rataj. These experiences provided me with firsthand insight into how the legal system operates and underscored the challenges clients endure during such trying times. As a result, I've adopted a philosophy that treats every client like family because I'm passionate about advocating for their best interests and dedicated to securing optimal outcomes on their behalf.
