We are very careful when adding a lawyer to the bad list. If they end up there, it means they have truly angered us.

We thought about creating a good and bad lawyer list for a long time. We have wanted to separate the good from the bad since we started Clearway.

One of the first ways we did this was to put up profiles of every lawyer in Canada, and let the public review them. In just over a few months, we had over 2000 reviews.

If you are looking for the list, you can search for the lawyer you are talking to on this list. You can click “control F.” You can also contact us to add a lawyer to this list. We will need proof.

This article will continue to evolve over time. We will add lawyers and attorneys to the good and bad list as we find them.

If a bad lawyer puts in the effort to change their ways, we will remove them from the bad list.

If we later find out a good lawyer wasn’t great at all, we will remove them.

When we added the ability for the public to leave reviews for lawyers, many law firms contacted us.

A majority of lawyers saw the profiles as an opportunity to market their practice. Third-party validation websites are extremely helpful.

Smart lawyers customized their profiles and then sent the link to their clients to get 5-star reviews.

How do you know if a lawyer is good or not?

You should look for the lawyer’s profile on our website. You can see how many reviews they have, and if the reviews are positive.

It’s also smart to look at Google Reviews on Google Maps. But most of the time that will show you the law firm’s reviews, not for the lawyer. If the firm has multiple lawyers, then this doesn’t really work.

What makes a good lawyer good?

Dean Davison– This lawyer truly cares about his clients. We absolutely believe that he puts clients first. He handles lawsuits in Vancouver.

Lene Koke– She is the CEO of Axess Law. She is a perfect mix of entrepreneur and lawyer. Her company does real estate law, mostly around Toronto.

Barbara Green– Barbara is a very kind person and knows a ton about employment law in Ontario. She’s fun to talk to.

Chau Le– She asked us to clear our Dynamic Cache. We admire any lawyers that have tech knowledge. Many lawyers don’t even know how to use email.

Katrina Sriranpong– When she realized she made a mistake, she owned it. Many lawyers refuse to ever own up to their mistakes.

What is a bad lawyer?
