Torin McNeill

Torin, an articling student at MJM LLP, recently completed his Juris Doctorate at Thompson Rivers University (TRU) in Kamloops. During his time at TRU, Torin showcased his excellence in Family Law, earning the course prize for achieving the highest mark.

Moreover, Torin actively participated in the legal community, presenting at the 2017 and 2019 Student Law Conference on legal issues within the emerging esports industry. His dedication to his peers' well-being was evident as he was elected as the representative for mental health and wellness in law school, advocating for both mental and physical health support.

Before embarking on his legal journey, Torin earned a Bachelor of Arts (With Distinction) in history from Mount Royal University. His diverse background includes founding the Digital Media and Entertainment Law Club at TRU, focusing on legal matters in the media and entertainment sector.

Throughout law school, Torin engaged in various academic and social clubs, including the Legal Innovation Club, the Hiking Club, and the Human Rights Club. His professional journey began with roles as a project coordinator at a construction company and a youth and family counselor at a residential home. Additionally, Torin ventured into entrepreneurship by starting his own travel company.
