Amanda Zalmanowitz

In Verjee Law's Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group, Amanda serves as a dynamic force, representing clients in various courts including the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta, the Alberta Court of Appeal, and the Human Rights Commission. Amanda's practice is multifaceted, focusing on commercial litigation, shareholder and partnership disputes, and employment law. Renowned for her litigation skills, problem-solving abilities, and trusted counsel, Amanda is highly valued by her clients.

Amanda's journey with the firm began as a student in 2016, and she was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2017. She earned her J.D. from the University of Saskatchewan with distinction, receiving accolades such as the Cecil G. Schmitt award in Company Law, the Eldon Woolliams Scholarship, and the University of Saskatchewan Scholarship for Outstanding Scholastic Performance. Additionally, Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of British Columbia, where she was honored with the President’s Entrance Scholarship. During her academic tenure, Amanda served as the Managing Editor of the Saskatchewan Law Review and was a teaching assistant in the first-year Legal Research and Writing program. She also dedicated her time to volunteering with C.L.A.S.S.I.C, the community legal assistance clinic.

Beyond her legal pursuits, Amanda finds joy in travelling and exploring the Rockies, allowing her to balance her professional dedication with personal fulfillment.
