Rahim's journey in law commenced at Western University in London, Ontario, where he earned his law degree. During his time there, Rahim co-founded and co-chaired the South Asian Law Students’ Association. He also remained active in ball hockey, representing the Western Law team at the annual national Law Games.

Before pursuing law, Rahim completed his Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary and obtained a Diploma in Finance from SAIT Polytechnic. Throughout his undergraduate years, Rahim demonstrated a commitment to community service by volunteering as a coach and mentor for youth.

Calgary, Alberta, remains Rahim's hometown, and he proudly supports the Calgary Flames through thick and thin. Beyond his legal pursuits, Rahim finds solace in outdoor activities like golfing, weather permitting, and recreational squash.
