In the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group at our firm, Thomas assumes a crucial role, representing clients in the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta. His practice encompasses various commercial litigation matters.

Thomas began his journey with the firm as a student in 2018 and was admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2019. He obtained his law degree from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia, where he worked with the British Columbia Ministry of Attorney General. His focus was on innovating the legal field and enhancing access to justice through the Civil Resolution Tribunal.

During law school, Thomas spent his summers in Calgary, working with in-house counsel at a large agricultural company. He also served as President of the law school hockey team and actively participated in the law school rugby team and various intramural sports, leveraging his years of competitive hockey experience.

Before pursuing law, Thomas earned his Bachelor of Arts with a major in Economics and minor in Business from the University of Victoria. He also enjoyed a semester abroad at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy, during his undergraduate studies.

Outside of his legal pursuits, Thomas leads an active lifestyle, engaging in activities such as golfing, skiing, biking, hockey, and exploring the mountains whenever possible. His dedication to sports and adventure complements his professional endeavors, reflecting a well-rounded approach to life.
