Growing up in Calgary, Alberta, Carey heard one thing consistently: "You should be a lawyer." Taking this advice to heart, she pursued her Bachelor of Arts and later her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Calgary.

After earning her Law Degree in 2010, Carey embarked on her legal journey, articling at a mid-size firm before joining Bell and Stock as a young associate. Here, she discovered her passion for family law.

Having spent the last 7 years honing her skills at another esteemed firm in Calgary, Carey has now returned to Bell and Stock as a Partner—a beautiful full-circle moment in her career.

Carey's dedication to family law stems from her belief that while separation and divorce are challenging, navigating them respectfully can set families up for success.

Her straightforward approach ensures that her clients fully comprehend their rights, the legal process, and their available options, enabling them to make informed decisions.

As an advocate, Carey isn't afraid to fight for her clients when necessary, whether it's in mediation, arbitration, or court proceedings.

When she's not busy with legal matters, Carey enjoys spending time with her two large fur babies, Koda and Stewie, and her husband. She's an enthusiastic hiker, enjoys a good glass of wine, and loves exploring new destinations with her family.
