Amanda Jacinto

Amanda Jacinto, an associate lawyer at Bow River Law LLP, specializes in employment, labor, and human rights law. Drawing from a diverse academic background, Amanda holds a major in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice and Public Policy from the University of Guelph.

Her legal journey led her across continents to London, England, where she earned her Bachelor of Laws from Queen Mary University of London’s School of Law, recognized as one of the top law schools in the United Kingdom. Following her studies, Amanda returned to her hometown of Toronto, articling at a personal injury law firm before venturing to Calgary, Alberta.

In Calgary, Amanda's legal practice expanded to encompass employment law, family law, and personal injury law. Her courtroom experience includes appearances in Alberta Provincial Court and the Court of King’s Bench, engaging in summary trials and viva voce hearings. While Amanda thrives in litigation, she also values alternative dispute resolution methods when appropriate.

Passionate about client advocacy, Amanda prioritizes understanding and empathy throughout the litigation process. She simplifies legal procedures for clients, ensuring they feel empowered and informed every step of the way.
