Born and raised in Calgary, Brittany's academic pursuits led her across the pond to the United Kingdom, where she pursued her law degree at the prestigious University of Leicester. She actively participated in various student organizations, including the University of Leicester Students' Union and Law Society, where she dedicated her efforts to fundraising and charity events.
