Proficient in various legal domains including commercial litigation, construction law, and insurance and tort liability, I bring a wealth of expertise to the table. My journey in law commenced in 2016 when I was called to the bar in Alberta. Prior to this, I pursued an Honours Bachelor of Science, followed by a Master of Environmental Science, both with distinction, at the University of Toronto. Subsequently, I earned my Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary in 2015, complemented by a certificate in Construction Law from Osgoode Hall Law School.
Active within professional associations, I am a member of the Law Society of Alberta and participate in various sections of the Canadian Bar Association, focusing on Construction Law, Civil Litigation, and Insurance Law.
In addition to my legal pursuits, I am multilingual, fluent in Russian and proficient in Ukrainian, albeit in the written form exclusively. Beyond the legal realm, I am deeply engaged in community endeavors. Serving as a Director, Vice President, and Treasurer of the Alberta Young Speakers for Agriculture Society, I am committed to fostering agricultural discourse among the youth. Furthermore, I extend my legal expertise to those in need through volunteer work, including stints at the Student Legal Assistance Clinic at the University of Calgary and the Pro Bono Students Canada Family Law Project between 2012 and 2013.
My dedication and contributions have been recognized through various awards and scholarships, notably the Mary Winthrop Allen Graduate Student Scholarship in Environmental Science. As I continue to navigate the intricate landscape of law, I remain steadfast in my commitment to excellence, both professionally and within my community.
