Growing up on his family's Manitoba farm instilled in Eric a deep appreciation for hard work and entrepreneurship. He ventured to Alberta, captivated by its frontier spirit and bustling business landscape.

His family's small business background ignited Eric's passion for assisting owner-managed enterprises with a myriad of legal matters. From business and succession planning to corporate reorganizations, Eric's expertise spans a diverse range of corporate, tax, and estate planning issues.

Eric's academic journey took him to Queen's University for a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies and then to the University of Calgary Faculty of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree. Complementing his legal acumen, he completed the CPA In-depth Tax Course in 2021.

Outside the legal realm, Eric remains deeply engaged with the agricultural community, founding the Alberta Young Speakers for Agriculture competition at the Calgary Stampede and serving on various boards, including 4-H Canada.

In his leisure moments, Eric indulges in fly fishing adventures on the Bow River, embraces the slopes while skiing, and cherishes outdoor escapades with his loved ones.
