Kass Freeman

In the realm of commercial, civil, and insurance disputes, Kass stands out as a skilled associate. Her journey began when she was called to the Alberta bar in 2017, after earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Victoria and her Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University.

Kass is recognized for her pragmatic, logical, and goal-oriented approach, traits that have proven invaluable in handling a diverse array of commercial and insurance litigation matters. These include tackling issues such as insurance fraud, contract disputes, debt enforcement, construction disputes, professional negligence, bodily injury, and subrogation. Her practice spans across Alberta, where she has represented clients before the Alberta Court of Justice and the Court of King’s Bench.

Before joining Clyde & Co, Kass honed her skills at a regional firm specializing in insurance defense, commercial litigation, and civil litigation. Today, she actively contributes to the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) as the Co-chair of the Calgary Insurance South Section.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Kass finds joy in exploring the vast expanse of the Prairies alongside her husband and beloved dog. Her commitment to excellence in her legal practice is matched only by her passion for adventure outside the office.
