Catrina Foldessy

Having joined Dolden Wallace Folick's Calgary office in January 2021, Catrina embarked on her legal journey after completing her articles with the firm and being called to the Alberta Bar. Her areas of expertise encompass occupiers' liability, personal injury, and property damage. Moreover, she actively contributes to the firm's hospitality liquor liability and construction practices.

Catrina's academic journey is equally impressive. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Calgary before pursuing her LL.B. at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. During her time there, Catrina volunteered with the Birmingham Law School's Free Legal Advice Program, demonstrating her commitment to community service. Upon returning to Canada, she pursued her Masters degree in Common Law (LLM.CL) from the prestigious Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. During her tenure at Allard, Catrina served as a student clinician for the Law Student Legal Advice Program, where she gained invaluable courtroom experience by representing clients in BC Provincial Court proceedings.

Outside of her legal pursuits, Catrina finds joy in various activities such as cooking, camping, and cherishing moments with her family, friends, and pets.
