Darren Glossop

Darren's legal journey spans continents, beginning with his call to the Bar in South Africa in 2012. He brings a wealth of international experience to his role as an associate at Dolden Wallace Folick, where he joined in 2021 after completing his articles.

His expertise in insurance litigation is not limited to Canada; Darren has successfully defended clients in various insurance-related matters both locally and internationally. From property losses to director and officer liability cases, Darren's litigation skills have been honed through years of diverse legal experience.

Before joining the firm, Darren worked as corporate counsel for a major international shipping line, handling a spectrum of legal issues including commercial, construction, insurance, and maritime litigation. This background equipped him with a keen understanding of the challenges clients face when navigating legal matters.

Outside the office, Darren finds solace in the breathtaking landscapes of the Canadian Rockies. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys sharing his passion for hiking, kayaking, and camping with others.

Darren's educational journey includes a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics from the University of South Africa and postgraduate studies in law at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and holds bar admissions in both South Africa and Alberta.
