Aaron, a key figure within BLG's Commercial Real Estate division, is renowned for his deep-rooted expertise across the entire spectrum of commercial real estate. His work spans several fields, including hospitality, commercial leasing, project development, and development financing. He spearheads significant transactions related to acquisition, financing, development, restructuring, and securitization. Additionally, Aaron is the go-to expert for municipal law consultations.

His prowess extends to Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), where he has played a pivotal role in their formation, financing, and sale. Aaron’s breadth of work also encompasses the realms of insolvency and restructuring, public finance, commercial real estate law, property development, and construction law. His counsel is sought after in public-private partnerships, alternative finance initiatives, public procurement, and elaborate construction undertakings, serving both public and private entities.

Aaron's notable achievements include orchestrating the acquisition and financing of the Canadian Western Bank Place alongside a detached five-story parkade at 10303 Jasper Avenue in Edmonton, Alberta. He also leads the team advising Harmony Beef Company, Ltd., an entity at the forefront of the beef processing industry in Alberta, boasting a highly sophisticated facility, serving both Canadian and international markets, and supporting over 425 employees.

His advisory capacity extends to commercial real estate and regulatory matters related to the rail industry. Aaron has contributed to various insights and events addressing issues like Calgary's housing crisis, the implications of Alberta's 2023 budget, and the launch of the Jansen potash project in Saskatchewan by BHP. He has also shared his knowledge through publications and presentations, including a notable involvement in a panel on commercial real estate transactions hosted by the Legal Education Society of Alberta in January 2013.
