Stephen Abosi, an associate in the Business Law Group at Cassels, specializes in securities, corporate matters, mergers & acquisitions, financing transactions, and public listings. With previous experience in entertainment law, Stephen brings a diverse skill set to his practice.

Before joining Cassels, Stephen worked as an associate in the Business Law Group at another national firm, honing his expertise in a variety of legal areas.

In his role, Stephen has been involved in notable transactions, such as the merger between Consolidated Uranium and IsoEnergy, as well as the spin-out of Premier American Uranium. These accomplishments showcase his proficiency in navigating complex corporate transactions.

Beyond his legal work, Stephen is actively engaged in the community. He serves as a Director for Athletics Canada and the UBC Track & Field – Beyond the Finish Line (BFL) program, demonstrating his commitment to giving back.

Stephen is admitted to practice law in Alberta since 2021 and in Ontario since 2023. He is affiliated with various professional associations including the Calgary Bar Association, Canadian Bar Association, and Law Society of Alberta, where he continues to contribute his expertise and dedication to the legal community.
