Lisa Statt Foy, a partner in our Calgary office, is a seasoned trademark agent and estate planning expert. Her diverse skill set allows her to assist clients in navigating the complexities of both intellectual property law and estate planning.

With licenses to file trademark applications in both Canada and the United States, Lisa serves clients with cross-border interests, including internet-based businesses and global brand owners. She collaborates with legal professionals worldwide to protect her clients' interests effectively.

Lisa's extensive experience includes drafting wills, trusts, and enduring power of attorneys. She is well-versed in estate administration, succession planning, and intergenerational wealth transfer. Her expertise extends to trademark protection, enforcement, and licensing, as well as intellectual property law and internet law.

As an educator, Lisa instructs fellow lawyers on advanced will drafting, estate administration, and digital assets. She has also lectured on intellectual property at various institutions, including the Alberta College of Art and Design and Mount Royal University.

Outside her legal practice, Lisa is dedicated to supporting women exiting sexual exploitation through her role on the Board of Directors of Next Step Ministries. She enjoys spending quiet weekends with her family, cherishing moments away from her former life as an explorer.
