5 out of 5 stars

I had the pleasure of working with Carly Baker on a particularly tricky employment dispute that could have gone south really fast if not handled with the utmost care and expertise. Let me tell you, Carly is a true professional through and through. We were dealing with a complex wrongful dismissal case, and her guidance was invaluable. The way she navigated through the legal intricacies was nothing short of impressive.

Carly's approach was not only highly knowledgeable but also incredibly strategic. We had several meetings in her office downtown, just a stone's throw away from the Calgary Tower, which made it super convenient for me coming from meetings in the area. Her ability to lay out our options clearly, considering both immediate and long-term implications, was particularly noteworthy. It's rare to find someone who can balance the legal jargon with plain language explanations the way she does.

What really set Carly apart for me was her representation in court. We had to appear before the Alberta Labour Relations Board, and let's just say, it's not the most relaxing experience. Yet, Carly's calm and confident demeanor made all the difference. It was evident she was well-respected in the legal community, from the courtroom in downtown Calgary to the discussions outside court premises near the scenic Bow River pathways where we sometimes recapped our strategies.
