Jahaan Premji

Jahaan brings a fresh perspective to the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group at the Calgary office of Lawson Lundell. Joining as a summer student in 2019 and transitioning to an associate in 2022, she quickly established herself as a valuable member of the team.

Graduating with a Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta in 2020, Jahaan's journey into law was marked by her dedication to community service. During her time at law school, she actively volunteered with various organizations, including the Civil Claims Duty Counsel and Student Legal Services, demonstrating her commitment to access to justice.

Jahaan's passion for social justice extends beyond her legal career. With an undergraduate degree in Conflict Studies and Human Rights from the University of Ottawa, she has a solid foundation in understanding the complexities of human rights issues.

In her free time, Jahaan continues to give back to her community by volunteering with Calgary Legal Guidance, where she provides legal assistance to those in need. Additionally, she shares her love for yoga by teaching regular Vinyasa classes, fostering wellness in her community.

As a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Law Society of Alberta, and Calgary Bar Association, Jahaan remains dedicated to professional development and staying abreast of legal developments. Her diverse background and commitment to service make her a valuable asset to both her firm and the community she serves.
