Heather Davidson

Heather, boasting 23 years of litigation experience, focuses on high net worth and intricate family law cases. With her accounting background, she offers unique insights into financial matters, coupled with her expertise as a litigator and mediator.

In addition to her specialization in accounting and finance, Heather provides counsel on the interaction between family property law and personal assets. She assists clients in structuring various agreements, including Unanimous Shareholders’ Agreements, estates, and Cohabitation/Prenuptial Agreements.

Heather's educational journey includes degrees in Accounting and English before pursuing Law School at the U of A. Post-graduation, she worked with Alberta Justice and a commercial litigation firm in Calgary before dedicating herself fully to Family Law. Throughout her career, she has represented clients from diverse industries and backgrounds.

Heather's expertise extends to exclusive practice in family law, focusing on high net worth and financially complex divorce matters. She has appeared at all court levels, as well as mediations, arbitrations, and tribunals.

In terms of language proficiency, Heather is fluent in English. Her educational qualifications include an LLB from the University of Alberta, a B.A. from the University of Calgary, and an Accounting degree from N.A.I.T.

Heather is actively involved in professional associations, including the Canadian Bar Association and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. She has served as the past secretary/VP of the Association of Women Lawyers in Calgary and is affiliated with Mediate BC and Hear the Child Society BC.
