Krista Cossar

Krista M. Cossar, an associate at Wise Scheible Barkauskas, brought her expertise to the firm in 2019 after practicing at Kanuka Thuringer in Regina, Saskatchewan. She specializes in family law, boasting extensive court experience across various levels, including Provincial Court, Court of Queen’s Bench, and the Court of Appeal.

In her role, Krista adeptly navigates clients through separation, divorce, custody, child and spousal support, and parenting arrangements. She excels in negotiating and drafting tailored Prenuptial, Cohabitation, and Separation Agreements, ensuring each client's unique needs are met. Furthermore, Krista demonstrates her skill in mediation proceedings, parent coordination, and Joint Dispute Resolution processes.

Having been admitted to the Bar in Alberta in 2019 and Saskatchewan in 2018, Krista earned her J.D. from the University of Saskatchewan in 2017 and her B.A. (Hons.) from Queen’s University in 2014.
