Wayne Barkauskas

Mr. Barkauskas embarked on his legal career in 1992, delving exclusively into family law. With a background in corporate law and psychology, he brings a unique perspective to his practice, often employing mediation, arbitration, and parenting coordination.

Advocating for alternative dispute resolution when appropriate, Mr. Barkauskas aims to streamline processes and reduce costs. However, when necessary, he leverages his extensive litigation experience to propel cases forward efficiently.

A member of the Alberta Family Mediation Society and a registered Collaborative Law Lawyer, Mr. Barkauskas is among the few lawyers in Alberta qualified as a Parenting Coordinator. His contributions extend beyond legal practice; he's chaired the CBA National Family Law Section and served as President of the Alberta Branch of the Canadian Bar Association.
