With a knack for navigating the regulatory approval process, Jesse has lent his expertise to a broad array of projects across the country. From the development of power plants and transmission lines to the exploration of alternative energy sources, his contributions are vast and varied.

In 2019, Jesse was admitted to the bar in Alberta, expanding his legal practice further north to the Northwest Territories by 2021. His academic credentials are equally impressive, boasting a Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Arts from Carleton University, where he graduated with high distinction.

Jesse's role extends beyond traditional legal counsel; he has adeptly handled appeals in both the Alberta Court of Appeal and the Federal Court of Appeal. His practical stint at Suncor in 2021 allowed him to offer targeted legal advice, further honing his skills in the energy sector. Prior experiences include stints at an international law firm, the Alberta Utilities Commission, Apache Canada Ltd., and the Northern Oil and Gas Branch at Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada, where he developed a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in energy and natural resource development.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Jesse is deeply committed to diversity and inclusion within the legal community. He actively participates in the Osler Pride Network, supporting LGBTQ2S+ legal professionals, and co-chairs Osler’s Calgary Diversity Committee, underscoring his dedication to fostering an inclusive legal environment.
