Bradley Mustard

Brad Mustard brings over two decades of expertise to his role as a family law practitioner, specializing in mediation and arbitration. With a keen focus on resolving intricate family law issues efficiently, Brad serves as an Arbitrator, Mediator, and Collaborative Lawyer.

His practice revolves around guiding clients through complex property and support matters, prioritizing the creation of parenting plans to mitigate conflict within families. Brad's approach emphasizes problem-solving over problem creation, with litigation being a last resort.

Having earned his Master of Laws (LLM) in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Law School in 2016, Brad is a sought-after presenter in negotiation and mediation at various legal forums. He has also contributed to the Dispute Resolution block week at the University of Calgary Faculty of Law from 2017 to 2020.

Beyond his legal practice, Brad has a rich history of community involvement, serving as Chair of the Association of Collaborative Lawyers and the Distress Centre Calgary. He also serves as a Board Member of the Veterans Transition Network and actively contributes to the Canadian Bar Association – Family Law South subsection.

Currently, Brad continues to make significant contributions within the family law profession, serving on the Judicial Advisory Committee on Improving Family Law Court Processes and as a Board Member of the Alberta Family Mediation Society. Additionally, he is appointed as a Dispute Resolution officer at the Calgary Courts Center.
