Danielle Maksimow

Danielle Maksimow, a partner in our capital markets group, specializes in financial matters. She advises a diverse clientele, including borrowers, banks, and insurance companies, on various financial transactions.

Ms. Maksimow's expertise spans US private placements of debt, syndicated and bilateral debt financing, asset-based lending, and project finance. She also handles complex intercreditor issues and debt restructurings.

Throughout her career, Ms. Maksimow has demonstrated versatility. She frequently acts as agent counsel to international law firms on Canadian banking matters.

During her law school years, Ms. Maksimow gained valuable experience through work terms at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Paris, the Ontario Securities Commission, and the BC Ministry of Attorney General’s Legal Services Office.

With her LL.B. from the University of Victoria and B.A. from the University of Regina, Ms. Maksimow brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice.
