In the realm of corporate and commercial law, Katrijn Thys shines, specializing in energy and infrastructure projects. Her expertise spans a broad spectrum of services, including advising on finance and project documents in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Katrijn brings a wealth of experience to the table, adept at drafting and interpreting various agreements such as engineering, procurement, and construction agreements, purchase and sale agreements, services agreements, and a myriad of finance agreements.

Qualified as a banking lawyer in South Africa and a member of the Alberta bar, Katrijn's legal prowess transcends borders. Before relocating to Calgary in 2019, she honed her skills in our South African offices, where she played a pivotal role in supporting the projects team on transactions in the Middle East.

Educated at the University of Witwatersrand, Katrijn earned her LL.B. in 2012 and her B.Com in 2010. Admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2021 and the South African Bar in 2015, Katrijn's multidisciplinary background equips her with a holistic approach to addressing the legal needs of her clients.
