In the realm of employment law, Preston offers comprehensive counsel to employers in both unionized and non-unionized contexts, at federal and provincial levels. He's well-versed in employment and human rights disputes, legislative interpretation, policy drafting, and employment contracts.

During his tenure at the University of Tulsa College of Law, Preston excelled in various endeavors, including serving as the Notes and Comments Editor for the Energy Law Journal. His contributions earned him the prestigious Marla Mansfield Award for Excellence.

Additionally, Preston's academic journey included an international exchange program at the University College Dublin, participation in a national moot court competition, and an externship at the Harvard Immigration and Refugee Clinical Program.

Armed with a J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law and a B.A. from Colorado College, Preston's academic achievements are further underscored by his admission to the Alberta bar in 2020 and the Colorado State Bar in 2018.
