Navdeep Kaur

Navdeep Kaur practices law with a focus on general litigation, bringing her expertise from both Canada and India. Prior to her tenure at Bennett Jones, Navdeep worked at a law firm in St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador. She transitioned her practice to Canada after gaining experience in the legal field in India.

Navdeep has represented clients in various courts, including the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador, where she appeared in both General and Family Divisions, as well as the Provincial Court.

Her commitment to professional development and advocacy is evident through her involvement in the legal community. Navdeep previously served as Section Chair of the Women Lawyers Forum at the Newfoundland & Labrador Branch of the Canadian Bar Association. Additionally, she participated in the Canadian Bar Association's Young Lawyers International Programme, where she worked as a Legal and Policy Intern with UNICEF Viet Nam.

Fluent in Hindi and Punjabi, Navdeep brings a multicultural perspective to her legal practice, enriching her ability to serve diverse clients effectively.

Navdeep's academic background includes a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Panjab University, Chandigarh (India), followed by a Bachelor of Laws from the same institution.

She is admitted to the bar in India since 2016 and later obtained admissions in Newfoundland & Labrador in 2019 and Ontario in 2020, showcasing her dedication to expanding her legal practice and serving clients across jurisdictions.
