Paul Caron is a seasoned legal professional whose expertise spans a wide spectrum of real estate law. His practice encompasses diverse areas such as commercial lending, residential and commercial real estate transactions, financing, and the enforcement of secured obligations.

In addition to his robust real estate practice, Paul is also adept at civil litigation, with a particular focus on issues related to real estate law, including foreclosures. He serves as legal counsel to a broad range of clients, including private individuals, financial institutions such as chartered banks and mortgage corporations, large development corporations, life insurance companies, municipal authorities, real estate firms, builders, and mortgage brokers.

Paul's legal career began in 1967 when he was called to the Bar after completing his B.A./LL.B. from the University of Saskatchewan. He gained invaluable experience during his articling period under the mentorship of William J. Major, Q.C., at what later became Major Caron. After a long and successful tenure as a partner, Paul transitioned to the role of Counsel within the firm upon his recent retirement from the partnership.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Paul is an enthusiastic traveler, having explored various parts of the world, continually seeking to broaden his horizons. He also actively engages in a range of sporting activities, including golf, hiking, skiing, and tennis.

In addition to his legal career and personal interests, Paul is actively involved in professional associations and community memberships. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and has held leadership positions within its Real Property and Foreclosure sections, including the prestigious role of National Past President. Paul is also affiliated with the Calgary Bar Association and serves as a mentor within the Law Society of Alberta's Real Property Division.
