Having had the pleasure of working with Mark J. Risebrough on a thorny construction dispute, I feel compelled to share my experience. Mark's expertise was a game-changer. Right off the bat, he got to the heart of the matter, providing strategic advice that was both insightful and actionable. We navigated through the complexities of builders’ liens with ease, thanks to his guidance.

Our meetings often took place in his office, which was conveniently located near Stephen Avenue, allowing for easy access amidst my busy schedule. Mark’s approach was hands-on, ensuring that every aspect of our case was meticulously prepared. His ability to manage risk and his foresight in drafting contracts was nothing short of impressive. It’s rare to find someone who can effortlessly switch gears from drafting ironclad contracts to representing you in court.

In court, Mark was a force to be reckoned with. His arguments were concise and powerful, resonating well with the judges. It’s clear he’s respected not just by his clients but also by his peers and the judiciary. His reputation for excellence precedes him, and it was evident in the way he was received at the Calgary Courts Centre.

After he took the case, he never communicated with the client until the court session was about to begin. He then told the client that the the other party' lawyer was very nice and the client should just listen to the other party' lawyer.
