Engaging actively within the legal community, Jordan holds memberships with the Canadian Bar Association, the Law Society of Alberta, and the Calgary Bar Association, showcasing his commitment to the field. Furthermore, Jordan's involvement with the Young Professionals Committee of the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association underscores his engagement in the evolving landscape of venture capital and private equity.

Jordan's academic journey was marked by notable achievements, including placement on the Dean’s List and receipt of prestigious awards such as the Howard Tidswell Memorial Award in Law, the Faculty of Law Scholarship, and the Stevenson and Cote Prize in recognition of his exceptional performance in Civil Procedure. His academic pursuits also led him to an enriching exchange at the University of Hong Kong’s Faculty of Law, broadening his legal perspective and expertise.

Before embarking on his legal career, Jordan applied his analytical skills as a business analyst at a leading global petroleum consulting firm, gaining invaluable experience in the business sector.

In the sphere of mergers and acquisitions, private equity, capital markets, and securities, Jordan has contributed significantly to the legal landscape. His recent work includes advising the underwriters in Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s substantial C$1.28 billion offering of subscription receipts and assisting the special committee of the board of directors of TransAlta Renewables Inc. This role was pivotal in the strategic acquisition by TransAlta Corporation of shares held by minority shareholders of TransAlta Renewables. Additionally, Jordan played a key role in ARC Energy Fund 9’s investment in CarbiCrete Inc., further demonstrating his adeptness in navigating complex legal and financial transactions.

Educated at the University of Calgary, where he earned his J.D. in 2019, and the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, graduating with honors in 2014, Jordan's foundation in law and business is solid. His admission to the Alberta bar in 2020 marked the beginning of his professional journey in law, where his contributions continue to resonate within the corporate sector.
